Estate Snapper (“the Service”) helps people analyze estate sale items, research pricing, estimate shipping, generate listing copy, organize sales, collaborate in teams, optionally post listings to eBay, and optionally publish public sale pages. Paid plans are billed through Stripe. This policy explains what data we collect, how it is used, who processes it, and the choices you have. We collect only what is needed to provide the Service, and we do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Your data is used solely to operate the Service: identifying items from photos, researching comparable pricing, estimating shipping and margins, generating listing copy, organizing your sales, enabling team collaboration, billing paid plans, and — only if you connect eBay — creating listings you explicitly request. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
The Service supports team accounts called “workspaces.” Every account gets a personal workspace, and operators can invite teammates. Within a workspace, members can view and edit the sales and items in that workspace, and usage is billed to the workspace owner. We record which member analyzed or last edited an item for accountability. If you join someone else's workspace, the items and sales there belong to that workspace and its owner, not to your personal account.
You can optionally publish a sale to a public page (a shareable link) so buyers can browse it without signing in. When a sale is published, the item details and photos on that page become publicly visible to anyone with the link and may be fetched by services that generate link previews. Publishing is your choice: you can hide prices, curate which items appear, and unpublish or archive a sale at any time, which removes it from public view.
To provide the Service, your data is processed by these providers:
Paid subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Stripe. Your card information is entered directly with Stripe and is never sent to or stored on our systems. We retain only the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and your current plan, which we use to provide access to paid features and to manage billing.
Data is stored in Supabase (Postgres database and object storage). Access is scoped by workspace membership, with additional checks in our application layer, so accounts can only reach data in workspaces they belong to. All connections use HTTPS. Sensitive credentials — your eBay OAuth tokens and any Anthropic API key you provide — are stored encrypted and used only to perform actions you initiate. Payment card data is handled entirely by Stripe and is not stored on our systems.
In compliance with eBay’s Marketplace Account Deletion/Closure policy, the Service operates an endpoint that receives eBay’s account-deletion notifications. We do not retain eBay user data beyond the OAuth tokens required for listing actions you request, and those are removed when you disconnect eBay or delete your account.
You can delete individual items (which also removes their stored images), unpublish or archive sales, and disconnect eBay at any time from within the app. To close your entire account, use Settings → Privacy & Data or contact us at the address below. When you close your account it is deactivated immediately and removed from active use. Your data is then retained for a 90-day grace period in case you need to restore it, and is permanently deleted after that. Permanent deletion removes your items, photos, sales, the workspaces you own, eBay tokens, and any stored API key, and cancels any active subscription. Records we are legally required to keep — such as past payment invoices held by our payment processor — are retained as required by law.
If you are a member of someone else's workspace, the work you did there (such as items you analyzed for that workspace's owner) stays with that owner as part of their account; your personal account and data are removed.
You control what you upload, whether you connect eBay, whether you publish a sale publicly, whether you invite teammates, whether you use Google sign-in, and whether you provide your own Anthropic key. Connecting eBay, publishing sales, and inviting teammates are all optional; the Service is fully usable for analysis, pricing, and listing copy without them.
The Service is intended for adults operating or assisting with estate sales and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
